About
As time rapidly spirals downward towards your last breath...
How will you spend Eternity?
Those who plan to repent
at the Eleventh Hour...
Usually die at 10:30
This website
...is not about the
'religion' of Christianity. Yet, at the same time, it is strongly founded in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
That statement sounds contradictory but, in fact, it is a paradox.
The term 'religion' has been used to generalize how we
(as humans) describe or define who God is.. But in reality, religion has become a man made device
("construct of the mind") to put God (who is unlimited)
into a box that can be fully understood by man
(who is limited).
The irony being that: God is outside of the religious box that we deny we are trapped in.
This should be obvious, but sadly, it is illusive to all who do
not want to let God be God
(in their lives). The main problem being that our pride wants God to bend his will to ours. Therefore, to preserve our pride and selfishness, we abandon humility and honesty, and readily accept skewed and incomplete facts that fit our model (or BOX) of reason which benefits the agenda of our sinful nature.
Quite plainly, we are more interested in hearing what we want to hear than honestly seeking the Truth. Instead, we use semantics and systems and explanations and especially mis-interpretations of the Holy Bible, as excuses for us to NOT be honest with God.
Why?
.... Because we are simply not being honest with ourselves.
Jesus put it this way:
"Assuredly, I say to you, whoever
does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child
will by no means enter it."
Mark 10:15
Ironically, the term religion is only used 5 times in the Bible.
The verse most noted is in the book of James:
"If anyone among you thinks he is religious,
and does not bridle his tongue
but deceives his own heart,
this one’s religion is useless.
Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this:
to visit orphans and widows in their trouble,
and to keep oneself unspotted from the world."
James 1:26-27
To paraphrase: "If you are going to ceremoniously act on what you believe,
than put your money where your mouth is, and do some good for others:
take care of the fatherless, and widows who are unable to meet their own needs."
Unfortunately, many have mis-used that small portion of scripture
to justify their "good works" as a means for their entrance into heaven.
Jesus plainly gave the path of reconciliation with God
(entrance to Heaven):
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me."
John 14:6
As the old saying goes:
It's not what you do,
it's who you know
that gets you into Heaven.
Matthew 7:22-28
The Bible, God, Men and Angels
The Bible is the only divine book that is above all others in that it does not compromise the absolute deity of God.
Yet it has been mis-interpreted and misused to create religious variations that suit the limited minds of men.
A tactic that the devil has used to cause many to ignore God as well as the Bible.
Why would God allow this? ...
The Bible explains the conflict of that there was a very high ranking angel called Lucifer who rejected his position
because in his pride he thought he could actually challenge God.
Pride is the problem. With man or with angel, pride is the problem.
The difference is that men were made in the image of God in that they can have a relationship with him that is uniquely shared.
Men are born into a limited realm with a time of opportunity to humble themselves and accepted God as their creator and Righteous judge
... and ultimately Gracious redeemer. But redemption is available only to men.
Both men and angels were given free will (to choose and worship God as their source of Life).
But, the devil and all fallen angels were created in the unlimited eternal realm and therefore when they chose to turn against God, there was no turning back.
Unfortunately, since they chose not to be with God, their destiny is to spend the rest of eternity where God is not -- in Hell.
This is where the spirits and souls of men will go as well, who do not choose to humble themselves and let God be their God.
Look at it this way: If you have a son or daughter, you love them and would give your life for them.
You want them to live with you and have a continued relationship with them. You want to bless them with everything you have.
But ultimately you know they have the right to choose to be with you or not. You may love them, but they may not love you.
In which case, if they don't want to live with and receive all you have to offer them, what can you do? You can't force it on them.
You can offer a gift, but it has no value until it is truly received. For all of us, Humility is the first step in correcting the problem.
What is sin and why do we need our sins forgiven? Sin is basically failing to do what we know is right
(James 4:17).
When we sin (and all of us do), we break our right standing in our relationship with God.
For instance. when someone lies to you, the trust in the relationship is broken - on both sides.
That relationship cannot be restored and continued until that offense is properly dealt with and made right.
And we all know that when someone says "sorry" but doesn't mean it in their heart, truly trying to trust
them from then on is just as fake as their superficial apology.
God is a real God. He does not play games with us,
and we are only fooling ourselves if we try to play games with us because he can see our hearts better than we can
(1 Samuel 16:7).

Why So dark?
The dark background design of this website was initially chosen because of aesthetic preference. But during development it was realized to be somewhat metaphorical because in the world, we are in darkness. Meaning there are many lies in the world which the darkness symbolizes. God is the Truth (John 1:4) which is symbolized by the Light.
We have been given the choice to either stay in the darkness, or seek to come into the Light.

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
